Our 10'x12' Cambridge provides needed storage without taking a lot of yard space. The 10'x12' size is perfect for small lots.

A larger size, 10'x16', is available. Weather tight when closed and out-of-sight when open, our custom built doors, recessed behind an attractive curved arch opening, are protected from the weather.

Doors retract, out of the way, for EZ entry. Eliminate weather damage from doors that are left open.

Our doors are pre-built, constructed from solid pine tongue & groove barn siding. Heavy duty sliding door hardware, along with an treated door sill provide a weather tight system.

The Cambridge Storage Shed is created using pre-assembled sections for the walls and trusses. Trim is pre-cut and ready to attach. Windows are not included in the basic kit. You can optionally purchase them only when ordering the shed kit.

Sliding pocket doors are made from solid pine tongue-and-groove barn siding. Arched opening adds visual appeal. Opened, doors recede from sight. Closed, they’re weather-tight and block out rain and snow.

Before beginning construction, get a building permit and make sure designs conform to local building code.

The Campton shed also includes framing and trim nails, powder coated black door hardware, and fully illustrated, step by step instructions. And, the shed is covered by our materials replacement guarantee. If any material in your kit is less than perfect on arrival, we will gladly replace it at no additional cost to you!

Make your Cambridge longer by purchase four foot extension kits. Maximum length of 24' recommended.
 

Materials to buy locally for your Cambridge 10' Storage Shed
 

From a local lumberyard, buy shingles, roof edge and roofing nails. Where possible, choose shingles that match the roof on your home.
 

    Shingles, Siding, Drip Edge materials:

  • 3 square 3-tab shingles

  • 6 pcs. Metal drip edge (10' ea.)

  • 5 lb. roofing nails

  • Siding (your choice of material)
 

Foundation can be concrete slab or wood floor. Measurements shown here apply to either. Use this materials list if building a wood floor. Your local building code may require design modification.

IV. High Wind Truss System Now Available!

The trusses are designed to handle severe snow loads of 40psf and 90 mph wind loads. Simpson hurricane hangers are provided. High Wind trusses are available that meet 140 mph wind load. In addition, if you live in a high wind area you must securely anchor the shed to a concrete slab which needs to be poured prior to shed installation.

a. Decorative Wood Windows with shutters: Single hung windows with screen and decorative wood shutters. 18" x 27" dimensions. These aluminum window provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Window fits between vertical studs. Decorative wood shutters are pre-assembled. Size: 18" x 27".


 

b. Decorative Gable windows: Octagonal gable windows illuminate the interior and beautify the exterior looks. These windows fit above the front door and/or on the rear window. The gable is the triangle area above the front and rear vertical walls.

Octagonal window fits between the vertical studs. Size: 15˝" x 15˝". Stain or paint before installation for a clean finish.
