The Dover is 12' wide and available in 20' or 24' lengths.
Doors are protected from weather behind an attractive curved arch door
opening. The door opening is 8'-0" wide x 6-6" high. You can order our
optional retractable wood barn doors, described below, or purchase an
overhead garage door locally.
If you want a walk-in door, purchase this
locally also. If you install an overhead garage door, the walk-in door will
need to be installed towards the rear of the building so the walk-in door
won't hit the garage door track when opened.
Weather-tight retractable sliding doors are made from solid
pine tongue-and-groove barn siding. Opened, doors recede from sight. Closed,
they block out rain and snow. The doors slide in and then fold back to provide
an 8'-0" wide opening

The Dover Garage is created using pre-assembled sections for
the walls and trusses. Trim is pre-cut and ready to attach. The
pre-assembled sections assure "squareness" and reduce assembly
time. Windows are not included in the basic kit. You can optionally
purchase them only when ordering the shed kit.
The Dover Garage also
includes framing and trim nails, powder coated black door hardware, and
fully illustrated, step by step instructions. And, the shed is covered by
our materials replacement guarantee. If any material in your kit is
less than perfect on arrival, we will gladly replace it at no additional
cost to you!
Before beginning
construction, get a building permit and make sure designs conform to local
building code.
I. Materials to
buy locally for your Storage Shed
From a local
lumberyard, buy shingles, roof edge and roofing nails. Where possible,
choose shingles that match the roof on your home. You also need to
provide a foundation. Purchase our optional garage door or buy one
locally.

a. Decorative Wood Windows
with shutters: Single hung windows with screen and
decorative wood shutters. 18" x 27" dimensions. These
aluminum window provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames
are durable and easy to operate. Window fits between vertical
studs. Decorative wood shutters are pre-assembled. Size: 18" x 27".
b. Decorative Gable
windows: Octagonal gable windows illuminate the interior and
beautify the exterior looks. These windows fit above the front
door and/or on the rear window. The gable is the triangle area
above the front and rear vertical walls.
Octagonal window fits between
the vertical studs. Size: 15½" x 15½". Stain or paint before
installation for a clean finish.
